Easy Lego Tray (with free plans!)

Check out this quick and clear breakdown on how to make this Lego tray that any child (or adult) can enjoy for hours! I made a video that you can follow along as well as a set of plans (link at the bottom of the page) that you can download for free!
I had been wanting to make my son one of the Lego base trays for quite a while. I don't even know what took me so long. But I finally did it and when I did it was a breeze. Just a couple hours of making it has brought my son many hours of enjoyment. And I got the pride of building him something that I know will last a long time.
I do offer premade versions of these in my store but I wanted to show other woodworkers and makers how quick and fun these are to build, so I set off to make plans (my first ones in fact).
In the plans I keep the materials and products very generic to keep them simple and easy to follow. But I wanted to list some of the items I specifically used for this in case anyone wasn't sure what to use.
PRODUCTS I USED IN THIS BUILD:
Titebond 3 Wood Glue: https://amzn.to/2ytvCJO
Starbond CA Glue: https://amzn.to/2Lo0AG3
Starbond Accelerator: https://amzn.to/3fIU3nn
Old Master Gel Polyurethane: https://amzn.to/2WShmU7
